We hope that your experience of our website is an enjoyable and exciting one; we have thoroughly enjoyed creating it. We aim to provide you with a service, bringing you a beautiful selection of handmade goods of original designs, the sort that you may have seen yourself when travelling but were unable to bring back in that already bulging suitcase. We also provide some information, the story of the person who made the piece, its historical significance or the beliefs of the tribe who created it. It is our hope that this will enrich your experience and perhaps bring us a little closer to people from other cultures as we discover about their beliefs and their art.

We also aim to provide our customers with goods that are both affordable and individual. We therefore have items ranging from the unique (one offs) to the manufactured good, which complement our Native American theme. We hope hat we have achieved this and that this catalogue will provide you with some enjoyment whilst exploring the richness of design, art and history in its pages.

Our research of the Native American beliefs and traditions has led us to numerous sources; it is so rich and varied that we have endeavoured to give just a flavour of what is a fascinating and full subject.

Uniquely Ajadica

Many of our products are hand made and therefore unique. Some of the items, though not manufactured, can be duplicated, whilst others are one off pieces. This is reflected in the price e.g. the inlay jewellery is more expensive but also exclusive whilst much of the silver and turquoise jewellery, whilst handmade are largely duplicateable. The Casa Grande pottery is hand made; many of the designs are similar but the pots themselves vary slightly in form. Our Kachina dolls and Zuni carvings are all one offs. We have chosen to display these one off products in our catalogue and on our website as we aim to provide a service to our customer which reflects our ethos.

Ajadica values and supports the artist, craftspeople and manufacturers who supply us. Drawing on their rich heritage to create individual works of art we then provide a link; are the messengers who bring the products and also the stories of this rich heritage to our customer.
